[:ja]日本の寝室といえば、狭くて、プライバシーが守られにくい、そんなイメージがあるけれど、皆さんは、どうだろう？
各部屋が襖で仕切られた、古い日本家屋の家に嫁いだ友人は、朝起きたら、同じ部屋に義父さんが、知らない女の人と寝ていた！なんてことがあったらしい（笑）。昔の日本は、こういうこともあったんだろうね？？？
そんな彼女が豪邸に建て替えて、30畳のリビングをはじめ、全室をお披露目してくれたことがあるが、当時、彼女は、体調を崩して精神的にも絶不調、キッチンの隣にある4畳半の家事室で飼い犬と寝る日々。旦那様は、一人で寝室を占領していたが、子供達からは「お父さんが、かわいそう！」と言われていたなぁ。
他人の寝室を見る機会は滅多にないと思うけれど、私の経験では、豪邸に住んでいる女性は、喜んで見せてくれることが多い。広くて、日当たりが良くて、リネン類も豪華！まるでホテル！
だけど、そういうお家は多くはないよね？
日本では、子供が生まれると添い寝をするので、夫婦二人の寝室というのは、なかなか持てないのが現実だろうし。

A friend who married to the house of an old Japanese house where each room was partitioned by a sliding door seems to have had that in the morning, Mr. Father in the same room slept with an unknown woman. I guess there was something like this in old Japan.
Such a girl has rebuilt it into a mansion house, sometimes showed off all the rooms including a vast living room. However, at that time, she lost physical condition and suffered from mental disorder. She sleeps with her dog in a small household room next to the kitchen. Her husband occupied the bedroom by herself, but the children said that “Dad is sorry!”
I think rarely have the opportunity to see others’ bedrooms, but in my experience, women who live in a mansion are often willing to show. Wide, sunny, linens are gorgeous too! It’s like a hotel!
But, there are not many such houses, are they?
In Japan, as children are born they sleep together, so it is true that couple ‘s bedroom can hardly have it.
