45〜49歳・男性・会社員の方からリクエストいただいた「パンツを捨てるタイミング」。
確かに、なかなか、人から話を聞くことが少ないテーマですね。
女同士でも話題にした記憶がないなぁ。
既婚男性なら、下着のことは奥様任せの方が多いと思いますが、男性の一人暮らしも増えているし、確かに、どうしているんだろ？と独身男性に聞いてみた。
A君に聞いたところ
「ちょうど、昨日、捨てた。もう何年も捨てたことなかったけど、穴が空いた！」
自転車に乗って、擦れて穴が空いたということらしい。
ふ〜ん、そういうこともあるのか。
しかし、パンツに穴が空いたなんて経験は、私自身はほとんど記憶にないのだけどね。
レースとか、薄い生地なら、爪を引っ掛けて破ったこともあるかな？
最近、カラフルなボクサーパンツを履くようになった70歳男性は、地味なパンツを全部捨てたそうだ。
私は、中学生から高校生になった時、大学生から社会人になった時、彼氏が変わった時、結婚・離婚の機に、それまでのショーツを捨てた。
ブラやランジェリーなどの高価なものはもったいないから捨てません！
履き心地が気に入らないものと、体型に合わないショーツは、すぐに処分する。履かないものを持っていても意味はないし、タンスの肥やしにもならないし。
子供の頃から父に
「洋服は清潔なものなら何を着てもいいが、下着はいつもきちんとしておけ！
病院に運ばれたりした時に、恥ずかしい思いをするぞ！女の子なんだから」と言われていた。
確かにそうだと思うが、最近、この言いつけはあまり守れていないね。
エステやジムに通っているときは「誰かに見られるかも」と、気をつけていたが、最近、そういうシーンがないので、気を抜いてるね。あ〜、アカン！アカン！
私が男性のパンツで、捨てた方がいいんじゃないの？と思うのは、汚れや穴あきは勿論だが、例えば、ボクサーパンツなら、ウエストや太もも部分のストレッチ感がなくなって、ヨレたもの。
どんなにカッコいい人でも、下着のヨレ感は、オトコを下げる！と思います。
たとえ、人に見られない時でも、下半身はピシッとしていてほしい！
しかし、酷暑の日本じゃ、こういうことを言うのもかわいそうかな〜。
