[:ja]「働き方改革」なんて、皆さんはご存知だっただろうか？
私は1か月ほど前に知ったばかりだが、ちょうど、今月発足した改造内閣において「働き方改革担当大臣」が新設された。

大阪府でも、平成27年1月21日に「大阪労働局 働き方改革推進本部」を設置し、所定労働時間の削減等をはじめとする「働き方改革」推進のための施策を行っているそうだ。
東京都では、働き方改革宣言企業に助成金も出されているような・・・
一億総活躍だの、女性活躍だの、再チャレンジだの・・・
こういう改革って、一般人から見ると、すべて的外れな感じがするし、当事者不在で、居心地悪く感じるのだけど。
2008年に当サイトで「ワークライフバランス」の認知度アンケートを実施したが、当時、「知っている」と答えた人は、10％以下だった。
企業の体制もそれぞれなので、一概には言えないが、長時間労働で、労働環境が厳しい会社ってそんなに多いのだろうか？
身近であまり見聞きすることがないので、実態がわからないのだが、構造的に問題のある業種はあると思う。建設業などは確かに大変そうだ。
夜、喫茶店に行くと、介護系と思われるグループに出くわすことが多い。
聞き耳立てているわけではないが、それなりの人数で集まれば、自然と声も大きくなり、聞きたくなくても、話の内容が伝わってくる。確かに、大変な仕事だと思う。
私のOL時代、その会社では多くの人が、仕事が終わっても会社に残っていた。
世の中も会社も、景気が良い時期だったこともあり、役職者や部署によっては、慢性的に残業があったのは事実。当時は、仕事すれば、それだけ給料も増え、みんな納得してやっていたのだと思う。
しかし、私は、ほぼ毎日、定時にタイムカードを押して、大抵、会社で1番に帰っていた。
どうして、みんな帰らないのか？と不思議だったが、単に、私の仕事量が少なかったということだろう。しかし、おしゃべりばかりして、仕事を早く済ませようとしない女子社員がいたのも事実。まあ、そういうことも許された古き良き時代。
ある日、「毎日、早く帰りすぎる」と言って先輩男性から指摘されたので、
「仕事が終わったから帰るだけで、やることがあるのなら、残りますよ」と言ったら、どうでもいい話を1時間聞かされた。
その時以外、その会社では残業をした記憶はほとんどない。もちろん、仕事があれば、残業は全く厭わなかったんだけどね。
後輩でさえも、私よりも遅くまで残っていたので、
「私が帰った後、みんな、何しているの？」と恐る恐る聞いてみたら、
「別に何もしてませんよ。6時くらいには帰ってますよ。」
やっぱり！じゃ、5時半の定時に終わって問題ないんじゃん！
しかし、毎日、定時退社する私は、全く昇進の対象にはならなかったけれどね。
まあ、これが現実なんだろうね、日本じゃ。
周りが帰らないから帰りづらいと耳にするが、こういうことがあるからだろうか？
日本経済は低迷していて、普通に考えれば、仕事量が増えるとは思えないのだが、リストラによる慢性的な人員不足がネックなのか？片や働きたくても、仕事がない人もいるのに。
なんとも、何もかもがアンバランス。そんな感じだな〜
しかし、政府や会社が仕組みを作れば、解決できる問題とも思えないのだけど・・・
仕事と私生活の心地よいバランスは、人それぞれ異なるし、その人の生活環境や年齢でも変わる。
私自身のことで言えば、仕事100％の毎日が心地よいと感じた時もある。
「働き方」は、働く人それぞれが考え、自分で選択することだと私は思う。
